Proper planning and sound restorative techniques can have a profound impact on a worn smile. Here, form, function, and natural proportions were restored through a carefully sequenced, conservative approach.

Case 02 · Restoring a worn smile without root canals

Rebuilding the smile while preserving the natural teeth.

Extensive wear had shortened the teeth and disrupted both the smile and the bite. Through comprehensive planning and conservative bonded dentistry, the worn teeth were rebuilt to restore proportion, function, and esthetics. This case was completed without root canal treatment.

Case 03 · Restoring a worn smile—conservatively

Restoring what was lost while preserving what remains.

Severe wear does not always require aggressively removing additional healthy tooth structure. In this case, carefully planned conservative ceramic restorations recreated lost tooth length, proportion, and function while preserving as much of the patient’s natural teeth as possible.

Case 04 · Everyday biomimetic dentistry

A broken tooth, restored conservatively.

A traditional full crown was not required. The damaged tooth was rebuilt with a conservative bonded porcelain restoration using a fully digital, same-day workflow—without a conventional impression or temporary crown.

Case 05 · Replacing a traditional crown

From traditional crown to bonded restoration.

Traditional crowns can conceal leakage, decay, and weakened tooth structure. This case shows each stage of removing the old crown, carefully preserving and rebuilding the remaining tooth, and bonding a precisely made ceramic restoration into place.

Case 06 · Working with the tooth

Reinforcing instead of simply filling.

Biomimetic techniques use compatible materials and fiber reinforcement to reconnect weakened portions of a tooth. The goal is to help the restoration and the tooth function together—top to bottom, side to side, and front to back.

Case 07 · Re-treating a failed composite

White does not automatically mean biomimetic.

Even a tooth-colored filling can fail when isolation, bonding protocols, material selection, or stress management are compromised. Timely treatment can replace the failed restoration with a carefully sealed, reinforced, and more stable solution.

Case 08 · Cracked tooth treatment

Stabilizing a crack before it becomes a bigger problem.

Large silver fillings can leave the surrounding tooth vulnerable to fracture. Under magnification, the restoration was removed, the crack was evaluated, and the tooth was rebuilt with adhesive materials and fiber reinforcement to help protect the remaining structure.

Early diagnosis matters. Treatment depends on the crack’s depth and location, pulpal health, and the amount of sound tooth remaining.

Cosmetic dental work can lose its seal, strength, and natural appearance over time. A biomimetic approach carefully replaces compromised restorations while preserving healthy tooth structure—creating a more esthetic result with bonded materials selected and placed for long-term durability.

Years of dental treatment can leave a smile with restorations that differ in color, shape, and material. Biomimetic planning allowed the mismatched work to be replaced with a cohesive set of bonded restorations while preserving healthy tooth structure.
